I think that the logo design trends are a reflection of what companies absolute, prosperous, or reshape in today's economy. Many new companies are facing new technology or placed in the face of "green" so these trends are in response to those markets. Like many of them, but I also think that some do not scale well.

Applications
Mobile devices and the visual language of applications can have the greatest impact on the way we design the identity for the next decade. We are entering a period in which the lines of distinction between the logos, icons, symbols, favicons, and buttons are completely blurred applications. These elements have always been visual cousins, but the results of inbreeding is the creation of some new types of solutions that do not fit the conventional tag models.
Are these buttons applications or these logos? The designers are tasked with creating identities for entities that can only live in the virtual world. If a brand is to live primarily on the menu of a mobile device, designing a logo and place it on a button or is it best to integrate the two from the beginning? It is imperative to use the visual vernacular bright reflective for a button, and if it does, that part of the effect is real or logo only appear when the mark is used for that purpose? Expect to see many more of these logos appearing outside the device in natural settings app.
